In my family, all the babies had a cumbia on the radio that they danced and smiled to. “La Chona” by Los Tucanes, “Como Me Duele” by Valentin Elizalde and of course, “El Sonidito” by Hechiceros Band. My wife and i wrote this song to serenade our baby while he was in the womb. We wanted to gift that cumbia legacy to our baby with his/her own song. “Mom al Revés es Wow” came from the simple realization that MOM inverted spells WOW. Heres a sweet cumbia to all the mothers out there.
